After many months of planning and development, the new Manchester Area Basketball League website is now live.
The new site has been created specifically for MABL and replaces our previous website with a modern platform designed around the needs of the league, its clubs, teams, officials and administrators.
For supporters and players, the website provides a clearer way to keep up to date with MABL throughout the season. You’ll be able to view fixtures, results, league tables, team information, cup competitions, news and other important league information from one place.
Behind the scenes, we have also introduced a new secure MABL Portal for registered team contacts, officials and league administrators.
The portal will gradually become the central place for managing many of the tasks involved in running the league. Depending on their role, members will be able to manage information such as home game details, fixtures, results, officiating assignments and league communications.
Built for MABL
Unlike our previous systems, the new website has been developed specifically around the way the Manchester Area Basketball League operates.
This gives us much greater flexibility over how competitions, fixtures and league administration are managed and means we can continue improving the website as the needs of the league evolve.
The initial launch is just the beginning. We already have further features planned, and the site will continue to develop throughout the season.
Keeping everyone informed
News and important league announcements will now be published directly on the website, giving clubs and members a central place to find the latest MABL information.
Registered members will also receive relevant notifications through the MABL Portal, helping team contacts, officials and administrators stay informed about matters that require their attention.
